Paul Molitor starred at three different positions during an impressive 21-year career with the Brewers, Twins and Blue Jays. Molitor came up to the majors as a shortstop but was voted onto the 1980 All-Star squad as a second baseman. He also overcame serious injuries to appear in at least 400 games as a third baseman and a designated hitter. Batting over .300 in a dozen seasons, Molitor’s best season came in 1987 when he fashioned a 39-game hitting streak, led the American League in runs scored (114) and doubles (41), and finished second in the batting race with a .353 average.
